Reading a certificate
Three things to check on any supplier certificate
- Scope. The scope line should name steel structure fabrication, not just trading or installation.
- Site. The certified address should include the base that will build your steel.
- Status. ISO certificates run on a 3-year cycle with yearly surveillance audits. A certificate past its surveillance date may be suspended even if the printed expiry is later.
