8 Manufacturing Bases Across South China
Five bases in Guangdong and three in Fujian, Guangxi and Jiangxi. Heavy members are built close to Shenzhen and Guangzhou ports; secondary steel and prefab products are spread across the network so large projects run in parallel.
Why eight bases instead of one large plant
A single plant runs into a ceiling on large projects: one blasting line, one paint hall, one set of heavy cranes. Spreading work over eight bases lets us fabricate columns, girders, trusses and secondary steel at the same time, then consolidate at the port.
Each base has a primary specialty. Heavy and complex work stays in the Pearl River Delta, close to the deep-water ports and to our engineering team in Dongguan. Lighter and repetitive work runs in the inland bases, where floor space is larger.
The network also protects your schedule. If one base is fully booked, or a typhoon closes a port for a few days, lots can move to another base or ship from another port without re-qualifying procedures. For Southeast Asian projects installed by PT Xianghe, the Guangdong bases are a 3–6 day sailing from site, close enough to send a missing piece by the next vessel.
- Same WPS library, QC procedures and ITP format at every base
- Central Tekla model and NC file release from Dongguan
- Consolidated packing and loading at Shenzhen or Guangzhou
Region, specialty and nearest port
Distances are approximate road distances to the main export port.

| Fujian | Fujian | Steel structures for East China and export packages via Xiamen | Xiamen, Fuzhou | 50–150 km |
| Guangxi | Guangxi | Industrial steel and PEB; gateway to Vietnam and ASEAN by land and sea | Qinzhou, Fangchenggang | 80–150 km |
| Jiangxi | Jiangxi | Light steel, PEB and secondary steel for inland and rail-linked projects | Guangzhou / Shenzhen by rail, Jiujiang river port | 300–450 km |
Allocation of a package to a base depends on member type, schedule and load at the time of order. We state the base in the quotation.

Capacity and processing limits
| Item | Typical value |
|---|---|
| Annual capacity, group-wide | Up to 300,000 t |
| Typical monthly output per heavy base | 3,000–6,000 t |
| Overhead crane capacity, heavy bays | 2 × 50 t (tandem lift up to 100 t) |
| Max single piece | 24 m long, 60 t |
| H-beam web depth | Up to 3,000 mm |
| Box column section | Up to 1,800 × 1,800 mm |
| Plate thickness | Up to 100 mm |
| Pipe diameter (rolled) | Φ400–3,000 mm |
| Shop trial assembly | Trusses up to 90 m |
| Steel grades | Q235B, Q355B/C/D, Q420GJC; S355JR/J2, ASTM A572 Gr.50 / A36 equivalents |
| Lead time after drawing approval | 25–40 days standard, 40–60 days complex nodes |
Typical values. Final capacity and schedule are confirmed per project in our quotation.
Capacity is shared across the group and booked by project. For a 5,000 t package, we typically split primary members over two heavy bases and secondary steel over one inland base, which keeps fabrication inside the 25–40 day window.

How one order runs across several bases
The model is split before production
The project engineer splits the Tekla model by member family and erection sequence, and assigns each lot to a base.
- Heavy columns and nodes to Dongguan or Huizhou
- Trusses to Shaoguan or Dongguan
- Secondary steel and deck to Heyuan or Foshan
Every base works to the same procedures
WPS, coating systems and inspection forms come from one central library, and NDT is performed by qualified Level II operators at each base.
- Weekly QC report per base
- Central QC manager signs release
- Third-party inspector can visit any base
Lots meet at the port, in erection order
Lots from each base are trucked to the port on a loading schedule, so containers and break-bulk lots are filled in erection sequence.
- One packing list per shipment
- One QC dossier per shipment
- FOB, CFR or CIF
See the base that will build your steel
Buyers, consultants and third-party inspectors are welcome at any base. Most visitors fly into Shenzhen or Guangzhou; the Dongguan, Huizhou and Foshan bases are 1–2 hours by car from either airport.
- On-site audit: workshop tour, WPS and QC records, live UT demonstration
- Video audit: live walk-through with your checklist, recorded on request
- Supplier questionnaires and pre-qualification documents within 3 working days
Base and capacity questions
See also group companies and certifications.
Which base will fabricate my project?
It depends on member type and current load. Heavy columns and nodes usually go to the Dongguan or Huizhou bases, trusses to Shaoguan or Dongguan, and secondary steel to Heyuan or Foshan. The base is named in the quotation.
Is quality the same at every base?
All bases use the same WPS library, coating systems, ITP and inspection forms, and releases are signed by a central QC manager.
Which port do you ship from?
Most export orders ship from Shenzhen (Shekou or Yantian) or Guangzhou (Nansha). Projects for Vietnam and ASEAN can ship from Qinzhou in Guangxi, and East China projects from Xiamen.
What is the total capacity?
Up to 300,000 t per year group-wide. A typical heavy base produces 3,000–6,000 t per month depending on member complexity.
