Shenzhen · 700 t truss
Longgang Central Hospital: 27 m span atrium truss, 700 t, raised by ultra-high synchronous hydraulic lifting.
Pedestrian footbridges, building link bridges, skywalks and welded steel box girders with spans from 20 to 90 m. Trial-assembled in the shop, fitted with lifting lugs, and delivered for hydraulic lifting or crane erection.
Steel bridges are short in tonnage but long in risk. Most link bridges go up in a single lift over a live street or between two finished towers, and there is no room for a hole that does not line up.
We fabricate the steel for skywalks between buildings, pedestrian footbridges over roads, atrium bridges, transit-station covers and road girders. Our scope runs from Tekla detailing through trial assembly, coating and shipping, with lifting lugs, jacking points and temporary bracing included.
Each member family links to its product page with section ranges and processing limits.
Welded girders for footbridges and road bridges, cambered to the design profile.
Heavy nodes at supports and lifting points, with machined bearing surfaces.
Bridges are priced per tonne; steel per metre of deck depends on span, width and enclosure.
| Tier | Typical scope | Span / height | Steel consumption | Indicative FOB China | Loading |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1: open footbridge | Box girder or truss, 3–4 m wide deck | 20–35 m | 250–400 kg per m | USD 1,400–1,600/t | Container segments to 11.8 m |
| Tier 2: enclosed skywalk | Storey-deep truss, floor deck, roof framing | 30–60 m | 400–600 kg per m | USD 1,500–1,750/t | Break-bulk segments |
| Tier 3: long-span link / girder | Lifted truss bridge or road girder | 60–90 m | Calculated per drawings | USD 1,550–1,800/t | Break-bulk, segments to 24 m |
Indicative ranges for budgeting, based on recent South China project data. Final tonnage and price are confirmed per quotation from your drawings, loads and coating specification.
| Bridge type | Typical span | Section | Erection method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pedestrian footbridge | 20–45 m | Box girder or Warren truss | Single mobile crane lift |
| Building link bridge / skywalk | 20–90 m | Storey-deep truss with floor deck | Hydraulic synchronous lift or tandem crane |
| Atrium and roof truss bridge | 20–40 m | Heavy H or box truss | Hydraulic lifting from ground assembly |
| Road and rail steel girders | 30–60 m | Welded box or plate girder | Crane, launching or segmental erection |
| Landscape walkways and canopies | 6–30 m | Tube or H frames | Crane, modular segments |
Link bridges between towers are usually storey-deep trusses assembled at ground level, then raised in one piece by hydraulic strand jacks. That makes two things critical: the truss must be geometrically exact at the bearing points, and the lifting lugs and temporary members must be designed into the shop drawings.
We trial-assemble bridge trusses up to 90 m in the shop, survey camber and bearing positions, and fabricate lifting lugs and temporary bracing with the permanent steel. For girder bridges, we fabricate welded box sections with full-penetration flange welds tested by 100% UT.
Vibration and corrosion matter for footbridges. We follow the designer’s frequency targets and recommend C4 systems or galvanizing for exposed bridges; see coating options.
Heavy lifts and exposed structures delivered with China State Construction divisions in Shenzhen.
Longgang Central Hospital: 27 m span atrium truss, 700 t, raised by ultra-high synchronous hydraulic lifting.
Storey-deep link truss assembled at ground level, surveyed, then lifted into place between two towers.
Antuoshan TOD cover: skylights, lane canopies and entrance canopies in Q355B box tubes and H-sections.
Your design is modelled in Tekla Structures, connections are checked to AISC 360, EN 1993 or AS 4100, and you approve shop drawings before any plate is cut.
Frames, trusses and splices are laid out in the yard, surveyed and match-marked so bolt holes line up on site.
Every member carries a steel-stamped piece mark that matches the erection drawings and the packing list.
Members are bundled on steel saddles with timber separators, loaded to a container plan or break-bulk stowage plan, and shipped FOB Shenzhen or Guangzhou.
Related: commercial and high-rise steel and long-span hangars.
We trial-assemble bridge trusses up to 90 m in the shop. Longer spans are supplied in segments with site splices designed with your engineer.
We detail lifting lugs, jacking points and temporary bracing to the erection engineer’s method, and check lifted geometry in the Tekla model.
Yes. We fabricate curved box girders, sloped walkways and spiral stairs from CNC-cut plate and rolled tube.
Connections and members are checked to AISC 360, EN 1993 or AS 4100. Bridge-specific requirements such as fatigue details follow your designer’s specification.
In segments of up to 11.8 m for 40HQ containers, or up to 24 m and 60 t per piece by break-bulk, with splices fitted during trial assembly.
Our minimum is 50 t. A single small footbridge can be combined with other steel to the same port, or quoted with stairs, canopies and lifting steel.
Span, width, enclosure and erection method are enough to start.
