Upload structural drawings and our Tekla detailing team returns a material take-off, tonnage and indicative FOB price. Projects from 50 t of steel or 2,000 m² of building area.
What to send for an accurate quote
Drawings alone are enough to start. The four items below let us price without assumptions.
Structural drawings
General arrangement, sections and connection details in DWG, DXF, PDF or IFC. A Tekla model (.db1) gives the fastest and most accurate take-off.
Steel grade & design code
Q355B, S355JR, ASTM A572 Gr.50 or your specified grade, plus the code for connections: AISC 360, EN 1993 or AS 4100.
Coating & fire spec
Blast standard, primer and topcoat DFT, hot-dip galvanizing or intumescent rating. If unspecified we propose a C3/C4 system.
Delivery port & date
Destination port, Incoterm (FOB, CFR or CIF) and the date steel is needed on site. We plan fabrication backwards from it.
Only have a concept or architectural drawings? Send them anyway. We return a budget estimate based on typical steel consumption: 32–45 kg/m² for single-storey warehouses and 55–95 kg/m² for multi-storey or heavy industrial frames. See our 2026 steel cost guide.

What happens in the next 24 hours
Most packages follow this sequence. Large or complex packages (multi-cavity nodes, 90 m trusses) take 2–3 working days.
Receipt confirmed
An automatic email confirms your files arrived and gives you a project reference number.
Engineer assigned
A detailing engineer checks the files are complete and contacts you only if something critical is missing.
Model & take-off
Members are modelled or measured, grouped by section and grade, and weighed with connection allowance.
Pricing
Material, fabrication, coating, packing and inland freight to Shenzhen or Guangzhou port are costed.
Quote issued
You receive the BOM, tonnage, FOB price and a lead-time plan by email, with a call offered to walk through it.
A quote you can put in front of your client
We price from your drawings, not from a rate card. The quote breaks the steel down so you can check our weight against yours and compare it with other bids on equal scope.

Indicative FOB China structural steel prices currently run roughly USD 1,100–1,800/t depending on complexity, coating and tonnage. Every figure is confirmed in the written quotation.
Your drawings stay with the estimating team
Drawings are used only to prepare your quotation. They are stored on access-controlled servers, are not shared outside Guiguan Group, and are never passed to other bidders. We sign your NDA, or send ours, before you upload if your project requires it.

Certificates and test reports are listed on our certifications page. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV is welcome at any stage.

Is the 24-hour quote binding?
The 24-hour quote is an indicative FOB price based on the drawings received. It becomes binding when we issue the formal quotation with validity date, usually within 2–3 working days after clarifications.
What if my project is under 50 t?
Our MOQ is 50 t of steel or 2,000 m² of building area. Smaller packages, such as stairs or platforms, can be added to a larger order or consolidated into one shipment.
Can you quote from a design without connection details?
Yes. We apply standard connection allowances (typically 6–10% of member weight) and list them as assumptions. Our detailing team can design connections to AISC 360, EN 1993 or AS 4100.
Do you quote installation?
We quote erection supervision for any market. In Indonesia and Southeast Asia, our subsidiary PT Xianghe can quote full installation crews. Civil works and foundations are by others.
